2nd Shift Machining Supervisor

Job Overview

Motion Raceworks is a rapidly growing manufacturer of high-performance automotive components. We
are looking for a motivated individual to help us stand up a 2 nd shift machining operation. This person
will supervise personnel and operate CNC machinery on 2 nd shift. Motion is a small, focused group of
passionate individuals with unique skills sets. The environment is very fast paced, exciting and unlike
anything you have ever seen before

Responsibilities

  • Manage a group of 2-4 employees on 2nd shift
  • Ensure production to approved schedule
  • Ensure parts produced meet minimum quality requirements, to prints or CAD models
  • Perform machining setups and switchovers as needed for vertical mills, lathes, and 5 axis
    machining centers
  • Operate CNC machines as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior machining experience
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Autodesk Fusion 360, Solidworks, or similar.
  • G-Code knowledge/programming experience
  • Technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly working closely with teammates
  • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Haas CNC next Gen Controllers and machines is a plus, on-the-job or Haas
    factory outlet training available to close any gaps
  • Prior supervisor experience managing 2+ people
  • Vehicle hobbyist/enthusiast, club or forum expertise is a plus

The Online Community Relationship Specialist will help with customer service, technical, and brand management while using multi social and internet platforms to communicate directly with customers. This individual will also direct questions and attention where needed to help sustain Motion Raceworks growth plan and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Search and find social media posts, questions, and community discussions to answer questions and offer technical advice
  • Become a positive and beneficial pillar on social media for Motion Raceworks market audience
  • Creatively bring value through posts, direction, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with social media and sales departments to help create content around relevant and popular needs and posts.

Job Overview

Motion Raceworks is a rapidly growing manufacturer of high-performance automotive components. We focus on providing solutions to unmet customer needs. Social Media is a very strong core competency of Motion Raceworks and will continue to be. We believe our Social Media is the life blood of our company but also improves and brings awareness to our sport and the people who participate, plus its a lot of fun! This role will assist our lead creative manager in capturing and building content for use with promotions, day to day social media posts, spotlights of customers, product releases and more! This position can not be remote and will be in person in Dewitt, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphics and pictures for use with Motion Raceworks social media, ads, Youtube, and more!
  • Photograph day to day activity at Motion Raceworks for use in Social Media
  • Posting intermittently on Social Media including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more
  • Product photography

Minimum Requirements

  • Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Youtube, Email and more!
  • Graphic Design work with Photoshop, Lightroom and more!
  • Past record of positive and constructive relationships
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly working closely with teammates and customers
