Motion Raceworks DIY Lightweight Chromoly Steering Column Kit is the perfect option for custom chassis, as well as applications that we do not have a bolt on application for. This kit will give you all necessary parts to build a column for nearly any platform on the market.

This kit provides the following:

35" 1.250" diameter .065 wall 4130 Chromoly tubing (outer shaft)
38" 0.75" diameter .065 wall 4130 Chromoly tubing (inner shaft) w/ pre-welded top flange
(2) Steering Shaft Bushings (black)
Lock Collar
Motion Raceworks 5/6 bolt Quick Release with Hub & Motion Raceworks horn button delete

Optional:

Grant Steering Wheel w/ Yellow Stripe or All Black Grant Steering Wheel
Steering Wheel Buttons
Adaptor U-Joint from 3/4" round (column) to 3/4 DD steering shaft

Great kit, i used the column in conjunction with their 6” extension kit so when the wheel is removed the column is almost flush with the dash. Plenty long to cut to what ever length you need. Highly recommend!

Was an easy install into my 2000 Sonoma after I made custom brackets for the column. Would have bought the s10 kit but my headers wouldn't allow the factory column location. I still need to sand out the center of my mpi wheel as it is about .010 to small to fit the motion horn delete plate. Thanks for an awesome product!

Used the DIY column in my 96 impala ss that is being set up for street/strip use. Mocked the g-body style mounting and welded up some brackets to make it a simple bolt in. Topped it off with a billet directional handle
